International School of Oncoplastic Surgery (ISOS) was founded by Dr. Chaitanyanand Koppiker, with an aim to fill the existing gaps in surgical training in the niche field of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. Dr. Koppiker is a renowned breast surgeon and one of the pioneers of Breast Oncoplasty in India.

Famously known as the Oxford of the East, Pune hosts a vibrant and talented youth culture from all around the world. The latest addition on the 100 smart cities in India, placed at just a 3 hour drive from Mumbai, Pune has culminated into a hub for business, IT and higher studies due to its geographical location. It is hailed as the cultural capital of Maharashtra aside being the eight largest metropolis in India. Once the centre of power of the Maratha Empire, in recent years Pune has developed strong educational infrastructure and fostered talented young minds in diversified fields of study. Thus, it is a city of many opportunities and cultures.
Pune has a tropical wet and dry climate with average temperatures ranging between 20 to 28 °C (68 to 82 °F) in September. September is the last month of monsoon. Heavy rainfall is expected in 2017. Hence the participants are requested to carry raincoats and umbrellas.
